Mabuhay and hello! My name is Megan Wikowsky and I am your inaugural Miss Asian Chicago Second Princess! I am incredibly honored to be a part of such a supportive group of sisters and incredibly lucky to have so much support from friends, family, and colleagues behind me. This title is symbolic for me as it shows other girls that they can do anything they put their mind towards. I never saw myself as a boxer to be able to compete in both boxing and a beauty pageant.

This pageant has been an exceptional experience and I am so grateful to have been graced with the presence of talented, hardworking women who I am proud to call my pageant sisters. My sisters have provided me with the grace of their help every step along the way, from help with public speaking, walking practice, and tying the back of my old shoes whenever they decided to break down on me. As the youngest contestant within this pageant, I not only turned 21 years old, but I also matured greatly because of the eloquence, professionalism, and talent I was surrounded by. I gained the confidence to stand up for myself in situations I would have otherwise shied away from, and this has allowed me to speak up for others and challenge the definition of what it means to be a strong woman.

As your 2023 2nd Princess I am ready to execute my platform of Youth Martial Arts as a form of healing and stress relief for children. I hope to build strength within our youngest generations and help build a brighter, stronger future. I look forward to everything the future brings and I hope to see you all soon!
