What's something memorable about you?
Something memorable about me is my personality. I have a very bubbly and outgoing personality and I love to show it everytime I meet someone new.
Why did you join MAC? / What is your goal with MAC?
The reason I joined the Miss Asian Chicago program is because I wanted to get to know other Asian women in the Chciago community. I also loved what this program stood for. this pageant is all about sisterhood, being empowered as a Asian woman, and loving who you are. My goal is to make new friends along the way and learn about everyone’s different background. I also hope I can bring attention to my platform which is to help people who are victims of domestic violence. I hope to use this platform to bring attention to this problem, which has been around for years.
What is your spirit animal?
According to a Buzz Feed quiz, my spirit animal would be a tiger. I feel like this is is accurate because I do trust my instincts whenever I have to make a decision.
What three things would you bring with you to a remote island?
Traveling water bottle with a filter, fire starter kit, and a bag of Peach Rings(fav candy).

BIO - My name is Sabrina Shafer and I am 25 years old. I am orignally from Minooka, IL but now I live in Chicago, IL. I moved to Chicago after attending college in Chicago to get my bachelors degree in Marketing. My Asian heritage is Burmese and Chinese.
My platform is to help bring attention to domestic violence in the United States.
My hobbies include shopping, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
I am a huge workaholic. My job is an account development specialtlist in the Red Bull division at my company.
I love trying new things and meeting new people. I feel like being a part of this process will allow me to do that. I have already met my fellow contestants and I already know we will make great memories together and build a bond that will last forever.
