01
Walking/Posing
We will teach contestants how to walk and pose in heels with poise, grace, and confidence.
02
Workshops
We will have workshops on the following topics: Public Speaking, Setting and Enforcing Boundaries, Feminism, AAPI History, and Current Events. The Q&A segment questions will be based on what was covered in these workshops.
03
Speaking Practice
There are multiple speaking segments of the pageant, and we prepare all contestants for that through group training and optional one on ones (individual meetings). Contestants will be given a series of mini excercises that build up to them practicing Q&A and eventually presenting drafts of their community platform speeches.
04
One on Ones
We offer contestants one on one meetings with our producer and other former pageant members, as available. The first one on one is mandatory, and we encourage contestants schedule multiple during their tenure with our program. We find that contestants who come prepared to one on ones and take feedback well do best in the pageant. Although such pageant coaching is usually an extra cost, we offer it free of charge to our contestants.
05
Workouts
We want to provide a holistic approach to empowering women. Therefore, part of our program includes group workouts and fun physical group activities.
06
Platform Building
We work with contestants to do self-reflection and personal mission discovery via various take-home exercises, a workshop, and one on ones. Then, we work on building their community platform, developing something that is rooted in their mission, interests, skill set, and any prior experience they may have.
