Xin chào mọi người! My name is Ngân Lê and I am Miss Asian Chicago 2023 First Princess and Miss Congeniality! I am Vietnamese-American from Chicago, Illinois and a fitness enthusiast who enjoys outdoor activities, working out, eating, and socializing. Also, my passion for health and fitness has led me to become a fitness enthusiast. I serve as a run lead for Family Style Run Club and share my fitness and health journey on social media.

As a community leader with over ten years of dedicated service, my community project plan is Youth Physical Health. I’ll be working with BIPOC low-income youth in the Chicagoland area, specifically with Chinese Mutual Aid Association’s (CMAA’s) youth programs. I want Chicago youth to learn different ways to stay fit and combat unhealthy habits that are prevalent in our community. I aim to resume providing health and fitness workshops and activities with hands-on learning such as nutrition and introducing them to the fitness community such as Family Style Run Club and Fit-Results. I’ll also choreograph Asian dances for the Lotus Dancers of CMAA and coordinate fitness and health workshops with the youth in the after school program and young women of color through CMAA’s Young Women Warriors program.

Service

My goals are to coordinate 1 Fitness/Health Workshop with Chinese Mutual Aid Association youth. I will host and coordinate an Earth Day community clean up run with the youth in CMAA’s After School Program and Family Style Run Club. Also, I will choreograph dances for CMAA’s Lotus Dancers. The dancers will perform at least one special event, such as CMAA’s gala, Lunar New Year, Argyle Night Market, and other Asian businesses.
